4RESCUE: the only dedicated professional
Air Rescue and Air Ambulance magazine
4RESCUE - The International Air Rescue and Air Ambulance magazine is the platform for the information exchange between all players in air rescue: those directly involved – pilots, emergency physicians, paramedics – but also management, maintenance, industry, administration as well as experts from R&D and at the hospitals and research institutes.
4RESCUE is circulated among European decision makers in Air Rescue (HEMS) and Air Ambulance, as well as the important international associations and organizations.
The current 4RESCUE issue
... introduces the new AW169 and EC145T2 with regard to their potential use in the HEMS or SAR roles. The Rescue Chain was the red thread during the II. European Air Ambulance Meeting, and 4RESCUE follows that chain. Training through simulation for flight and medical crew is another key topic.
IN our Flight Safety section we discuss the so-called Swiss-Cheese model in decision making and accident avoidance. And does CRM really work, is a question that a CRM trainer critically asks.
The AIRMED 2011 World Congress is at the core of this issue, and we present the program, the city of Brighton and introduce the host, the Kent Air Ambulance. We provide insights into the United Kingdom's HEMS system.
4RESCUE attended the Heli-Expo in Orlando and listened to what the manufacturers have to say with regard to the market status and development with regard to the HEMS and Air Ambulance segments of the industry.
4RESEARCH Supplement
4RESEARCH is the regular supplement in 4RESCUE with the objective to periodically offer peer-reviewed
scientific articles in English as an additional source of important information to the international air rescue
community.
